That's MY Girl!

It seems Marcey has inherited her Mommy's love of shoes. I caught her trying to walk off with this pair. She loves to try on any body's shoes she can find. She's not picky...sneakers, sandals, even Daddy's army boots!

Jaron's First Soccer Season

Our star player

The 2007 Cardinal team photo (minus a few players...the pictures were scheduled for 7:45 in the morning. What were those people thinking. We barely made it in time!)

Our little Jaron is quite the goalie!!!

Marcey, the glamour girl, is Jaron's biggest fan!!!
You will notice that Mikayla is absent from the scene. Turns out, that teenagers don't get dressed and ready for anything by 9:00 a.m. on Saturday morning. We can't even coax her out of bed with a promise of breakfast out! She's perfectly happy to get the play by play from Jaron at noon when we return from the game and she drags herself down the stairs.

The Kiddos

The kiddos all had such a great time playing and running around. The grown ups had fun too! I can't believe how much they've grown. It's so funny to see how Marcey andRyan have become such fast friends. It's also funny to hear Ryan say Marcey's name. It comes out "Farcey".

The Space Shuttle Enterprise

The tour that keeps on going

The gang's all here and the Capitol has survived. And...I don't think we made the evning news. But, we sure had a fun day!

The Capitol Trolley

This cute little trolley car is actually underground. It takes you from the senate office building to the Capitol building. Which, in our case was awesome...considering the weather that day!!! Also, we're pretty sure this was Jaron and Sean's favorite part of the day! This is the very center of Washington DC. It's in the basement of the Capitol building. So we were, all at once, standing in every quadrant of our Nation's Capitol

The US Capitol

Our two "BIG" peas in a pod got right back to business as usual... best buddies. While, the two little kiddos strolled along side each other sharing snacks and giggles and juice cups and the occasional fit to get out of the stroller. The museum was a big hit...Even for Mikayla, who racked up extra credit points for science by visiting the minerals exhibit.

Going to visit the Wiggly Worms

For President's day weekend, we got to go to Virginia to visit the Wiggly Worms. We had so much fun! We spen all of Friday strolling along the frozen streets of DC. The kids even got to play in the snow. Jaron and Mikayla were so excited because they thought they'd never see snow again! Marcey Loved her first ride on the Metro. Everybody's teeth catter as we wait for the next train!
